Yesterday, on 14 July 2023, the EU Data Protection Supervisor confirmed the use of Cisco Webex’s cloud-based video conferencing and related services in the Court of Justice of the EU complies with the data protection standards under Regulation 2018/1725 applicable to EU institutions, bodies, offices and agencies. Previously, the Court has revised the agreement with Cisco, ensuring the processing of personal data occurring only in the EU/ EEA and integrated technical, organisational measures to prevent the risks associated with transfers of personal data outside the EU/EEA.
